Q. WHAT IS CIRQUISH?

   Cirque du Soleil shows feature a made-up language, Cirque du
   Soleil originally referred to it as "Saltimbanco Language" 
   because it was made up for Saltimbanco. Today, this made-up
   vernacular is known as "Cirque Language", which fans have
   dubbed "Cirquish." The words have no literal meaning and
   therefore official transcripts of these lyrics are usually 
   not available. There are some exceptions.

   Some of these imaginary language lyrics can be found in the 
   song books for Mystère, Quidam, Saltimbanco and Alegría, 
   unfortunately they are long out-of-print. English transltions
   and other lyrics for "Quidam" and "Let Me Fall" can be found 
   in the "Quidam" CD Booklet. "Ombra," "Ballare," and "Miracula
   Æternitatis" can be found in the "Dralion" CD Booklet. The
   lyrics to "Alegría" are found inside the "Alegría" CD Booklet.
   And, the vocal pieces to "Varekai" found in the Sountrack (but
   not necessarily in the show) are found within the "Varekai"
   CD Booklet. These songs are sung in French, English, Spanish,
   and Italian. Delirium features English lyrics with Cirque du
   Soleil musical tracks.

Q. WHAT ARE 'AUDITION KIT' LYRICS?

   Audition Kit Lyrics are those found within Cirque du
   Soleil singer audition kits. These lyrics are semi-
   official as many obtained do seem to match up to songs;
   however, others do not. As such accuracy of these lyrics
   cannot be guaranteed.

Q. WHAT ARE 'LINEAR NOTE' LYRICS?

   Linear Note lyrics are those found printed within CD
   album releases from Cirque du Soleil musique. These
   lyrics are taken as OFFICIAL lyrics even though they
   may differ slightly from the live versions.

Q. WHAT ARE 'FAN-TRANSCRIBED' LYRICS?

   Fan Transcribed lyrics are those transliterated by
   fans after listening to either live tracks and/or CD
   versions of specific songs. Although fans try their
   best to work out the correct lyrics, we can work only
   phonetically at best. Therefore, the accuracy of these
   lyrics are not guaranteed - even more so than lyrics
   coming from the Audition Kits.
