Did you know that what fans now refer to as "Cirquish" - the
imaginary language most Cirque songs are sung in - was originally
called "Salimbanco language"? Although the use of made-up but
ethnic sounding words had been used in Nouvelle Expérience,
it was in Saltimbanco that Cirque's composers first used
a made-up phoentic language for most of its songs. Many of those
lyrics are available here for you to discover. Some have been
translitterated by fans while others come from various official
Cirque sources. Enjoy!
