HOLO MOANA
Pacific Islanders navigated open-ocean voyages without instruments.
Instead, they used their observations of the stars, the sun, the ocean swells,
and other signs of nature for clues to direction and location of a vessel at sea.
The Voyaging Swing Team are our voyagers. The act is a breathtaking display of
teamwork and acrobatic skill. Working in perfect harmony, the performers use the
swing to launch each other high into the air, executing daring flips, twists,
and precise landings into a net. They fly toward the audience, delivering
heart-stopping thrills. Beyond the swing, the troupe showcases their versatility
with stunts like bungee and surf skate tricks.
