As the Shoulder-Pole Wire act was staged only during Alegrí's original North American Tour (1994-1996), it is considered one of its most illusive performances. The acrobatic number was performed by a team of four artists in groups of two: one pairing consisted of Shi Yanping and Liu Lu, while the other consisted of Kang Hui and Zheng Li Sha. One would hold the pole on his/her shoulder while the other performed an amazing series of flips, backflips, and spins on the thin wire above the crowd. You can see the act's position below:
