THE APOLLO VAULT

The CSM-110 ("Kitty Hawk") that took Shepard, Roosa and Mitchell to the Moon on Apollo 14 is proudly displayed in the Apollo Vault, as well as: the cuff checklist and penlight flown on Apollo 16; a Lunar Sample Bag Dispenser; Spacesuit Maintenance Kit from Apollo 13; the Test Supervisor's Log Book from Apollo 11; EVA Training Gloves from Apollo 11; the Go/No-Go Cue Card from Apollo 17; pieces of LM Aquarius rescued from Apollo 13; a checklist from the AS-205/101 ("Apollo 7") mission; Lunar Sample 15058.187.023 collected by astronaut Jim Irwin in the Palus Putredinus (Marsh of Decay) lunar region on Apollo 15; Lunar Sample 70035.40.020 collected by astronaut Harrison Schmitt near the Taurus-Littrow Valley region on Apollo 17; and a variety of space suits (including, but not limited to, Shepard's Apollo 14 suit).
