The United States Astronaut Hall of Fame, located just west of the Kennedy Space Center Visitors Complex, honors American astronauts and features the world's largest collection of their personal memorabilia, focusing on those astronauts who have been inducted into the Hall. The Hall of Heroes is composed of tributes to the inductees. Among the Hall of Fame's displays is Mercury MA-8 ("Sigma 7"), the Mercury spacecraft piloted by Wally Schirra which orbited the Earth six times in 1962; the spacesuit worn by Gus Grissom during his Mercury flight (Mercury MR-4, "Liberty Bell 7"), as well as other Grissom artifacts; a Gemini G5C Space suit, also known as 'Gemini Lightweight Suit', were worn by American astronauts Frank Borman and James Lovell during the long duration flight of Gemini VII in 1965; and one of Alan Shepard's lunar space suits.
