{2013} /// Kite Flashmob Takes Over Moscow

    August 30, 2013 — To celebrate the construction of the Luzhniki stadium, Cirque launched "bright and cheerful" kites whilst 60 workers raised the "legendary" Big Dome. The public was encouraged to participate, dressing in stripes, and bringing along their own self-made kite.

{2013} /// Cirque Slackliners Stunt The Strip

    October 16, 2013 — To kick-off the World Slackline Federation's World Cup Finals, Cirque partnered with Gibbon Slacklines to perform a daredevil stunt on lines stretched between Mandalay Bay's two towers. Andy Lewis attempted to set the world record for walking the longest urban highline: 360 feet across and 480 feet in the air. While Lewis traversed his line, three of the world's best professional slackliners - Hayden Nickell, Josh Beaudoin, and Mickey Wilson - performed their own stunts and tricks on individual slacklines rigged at the same height. {2013} /// "Dreamseeker" - Macy's Parade Float

    November 28, 2013 — At more than 52-feet long, 23-feet wide and 35-feet high, DREAMSEEKER is the one of the longest, tallest and widest floats in the Parade. Cirque collaborated closely with the Macy’s team on its design, constructed by the artists of Macy’s Parade Studio.

    February 9, 2014 — Twenty-seven dancers and acrobats delivered a captivating performance to a unique rendition of "Here Comes the Sun" sung by Pharrell Williams and Brad Paisley and contributed to a very special finale alongside the likes of Sir Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and many notable others.     March 3, 2014 — British twin brothers Andrew and Kevin Atherton, aerialists with “Zarkana,” perform under the monorail truss in Aria’s porte cochere. The performance was promoting “Zarkana’s” revamped show, which includes a new soundtrack and new aerial straps act. [FOTO, VIDEO]

    October 22, 2014 — As expressed through Cirque's artistry, a demonstration of how any of the 37 Glade fragrances can incite emotion, spark the imagination, and arouse the senses, Cirque transformed NYC's Madison Square Park into a dreamland, the visual animation shifting as each scent elicted a different emotion and/or artistic expression.

    November 8, 2014 — Metro's Ste. Julie location in Quebec treated its customers to an elaborate production. Jugglers, acrobats and other performers came into the store dressed as regular staff. They then surprised shoppers when they broke out the knives, started juggling vegetables and performed contortionist feats in front of their eyes.

    November 16, 2014 — Cirque du Soleil performs in the town of Villa de la Paz, San Luis Potosi, Mexico. The performance was part of activities to mark the 150th anniversary of the Compañía Minera Santa Maria de la Paz.
